How It Works
Open the app web page and use it as your browser start page or pinned tab.
Type in a URL to save it as a visual card, and choose a suitable group for it.
Mark frequently used websites as favorites to keep them pinned at the top.
Use the search bar to locate specific bookmarks across your workspace immediately.
Download a manual backup file to protect your data or import it into another browser.
Local-First Bookmarks
Tabsly stores all your data directly inside your browser. With local-first bookmarks, your browsing data stays on your machine. You can save your bookmarks to a manual backup file at any time.
Start organizing immediately. You do not need to register an account, enter email addresses, or create passwords.
Bookmarks are written to local storage in your browser. All processing is done offline on your device.
To transfer data or secure it, manually export your workspace to a backup file and load it back when needed.
Optionally protect your backup file with a password. Note: we do not store passwords, so a lost password cannot be recovered.
Trust & Transparency
Tabsly is an indie-developed start page designed for users who value simplicity, lightweight speed, and complete ownership of their data. It operates entirely on your browser, does not implement cloud sync servers, and stores zero data about your links on external platforms.
Because there is no automatic cloud sync, you have complete control over your data. Creating a regular manual backup file ensures that you never lose your visual bookmarks, even if you clear your browser history or reset your device.
This is a local-first utility built specifically for QA, developers, designers, students, and power users who want a clean browser start page without overhead or corporate tracking.
